Our target market consists of the East Coast from Maine to Florida targeting population centers with access to labor, transportation centers, logistics infrastructure and ports. Having formerly developed, owned and managed a large public cold storage company with a fully operational refrigerated trucking fleet, Condyne understands the business and the facilities required to service todays modern food and pharma logistics industry.
A growing e-commerce market, specifically an emerging e-commerce grocery market, has increased the need for more regional food distribution and fulfillment centers. These facilities will allow grocery stores, suppliers, or 3rd p arty food delivery services to manage and fulfill direct to consumer grocery delivery orders. Roughly half of consumers in the U.S. already shop for packaged food products online and this number is expected to increase to 70% by 2022.
Acquisition Criteria: Primarily single or multi-tenant freezer, cooler or multi temperature food or pharma related facilities throughout the East Coast. Public cold storage, 3PL or food and pharma manufacturer ownership all considered.
